TRACK DOWN BORNEO

Brad Jacobs is strapped for cash…
But what if his biggest payday yet, is also a poisoned chalice?
Some call Brad Jacobs a ghost. Others, an urban legend. The former Marine has spilt the blood of soldiers, criminals and rulers alike, and it’s said no mortal man is beyond his reach. But for all his deadly power, no one ever told him that fighting evil and saving souls would be so damned…expensive. International flights and cutting-edge weaponry don’t come cheap, and Brad’s good deeds aren’t funded by the taxpayer’s dime. It seems his new venture with best friend Ving might be defeated by the most depressing adversary of all: credit card bills.
So when the CEO of a major oil company is kidnapped, the payday Team Dallas needs so badly is dangled before them, ripe for the picking. A simple ransom exchange with a few gun toting rebels in the jungles of Borneo, Indonesia. Maybe they’ll stop for a holiday in Bali on the way home.
But Brad’s pot of gold isn’t buried at the end of a rainbow. Instead it’s deep in the heart of one of the remotest jungles on Earth; home to man-eating pythons, brain crawling parasites and Jemaah Islamiyah, a terrorist group renowned for hundreds of horrific civilian murders.
Nothing Brad and his team can’t manage of course, until they learn their enemy is not quite what it seems, and the monsters they fight are little more than fleas on the back of a much bigger beast.
